Great Travel Moment

While I immersed myself in the history of Athens and Delphi, I didn't fall in love with Greece until I went to Mykonos. After checking into my hotel, I set off to explore Mykonos Town. After a few random left and right turns, I found this street. WOW! Those postcard pics aren't Photo Shopped after all! Every picture perfect idea I had of Greece was right in front of me. White cobble-stone streets, white-washed buildings with striking cobalt blue, turquoise and red accents. I initially went to Greece because of my love of mythology and history but this was the Greece I secretly wanted to see. The beauty of Mykonos Town is that these visions are literally around every corner! I loved it so much, I went back. I had to scratch off several things from my to-do-list in Athens but it was worth it. I'm going back to Greece this fall but unfortunately, I won't have the time to stop in Mykonos. Just another reason to go back next year
