Great Travel Moment

This is a shadow reflection of myself that I photographed while exploring the sand dunes of Moreton island. This image represents a special travel moment because I see my influence extending farther than I realize. My shadow travels unbroken over sand contoured into ripples and craters. I spent many hours amongst those dunes, interpreting and photographing this place that opened my consciousness after nights in solitude with the wind. I treasure this memory because the island had a large impact on me, and this is symbolically represented in my self portrait with the sun.
