Great Travel Moment

This memory is so vivid to me because the trip occurred with friends. Along with ten other people on a houseboat, my July 4th trip to Lake Powell in Arizona was unforgettable. Upon sailing through Lake Powell, I felt like I was entering Mars. Orange sun-kissed rocks surround you in odd shapes and sizes. We found a suitable place to dock our boat right as a sun shower left a gorgeous semicircle rainbow. It couldn't have been scripted better! The trip was all about relaxing and enjoying time with friends. We went exploring on jet ski is, hiked the rocks, lit fireworks, swam in the lake, cooked delicious dinners and did it under this surreally amazing background. Lake Powell is one of the most wondrous places I've ever been to.
