Great Travel Moment

This was taken from up on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. One of the most interesting things to me about traveling is realizing that I'm standing somewhere thhat someone famous once stood, where something well-known once happened. It's so amazing to feel that connected to history. This picture was one of those sites, where you realize how many other people have seen it. Then, looking down and seeing this heart, it was a moment that made me think...no matter how many people have seen the same thing, they all see it differently. The people who were in the same place a week before me and a week after me saw a different picture - we all have experience that are wholly universal and intensely personal all at the same time.
