Great Travel Moment

After lying on the shore of Rhodes on one of the most beautiful days I have ever witnessed, alongside two of my greatest friends, we headed back towards our cruise ship about two miles away. I had been taking rather interesting photos of our trip thus far, trying my hardest to capture what best exemplified Greece. This boy, this beggar child in the photo, is my own personal reminder of the truth that sometimes gets hidden behind sandy beaches and an abundance of tourists. When he looked straight into the lens of my most cherished of cameras, I felt him, his pain, and an indescribable human connection.
