Great Travel Moment

The tiny village of Soglio, Switzerland is perched on a mountain ledge above the Bregaglia Valley, just a few short miles from the Italian border. The views from the village are spectacular, but the village cemetery commands the very best view of all. Looking over the intricate railing around the cemetery, the landscape of rugged, snowcapped peaks which unfolds across the valley is breathtaking; this certainly must be heaven! Our family spent two weeks in Switzerland, every moment of which was magical! Whether walking in the shadow of the Alps, riding a gondola up the sheer face of a cliff, following each other along endless castle ramparts, feeding swans in the turquoise water of a beautiful lake, or simply throwing rocks into a picturesque stream, our trip was especially incredible because the four of us were together!
