Great Travel Moment We rushed to Sossusvlei for the early sunrise hike up the red Mar's like landscape only to be stopped by an oriental woman afraid to climb the designated trail, for fear of falling. People were hesitant to pass her because the sands shifted easily and one could tumble down uncontrollably. We missed the perfect photo op spot but we decided to have fun anyway. These four women were part of our Safari group and we had been with them for almost a month. All four were from Australia and were familiar with the red sands near Urulu, Australia but nothing like the thrill of running full speed down a red dune. I got in front of them and ready set go. The smiles of freedom on their face shows how much fun adults can have just being like kids. NO FEAR! |
