Great Travel Moment Peru's Lares Trail winds through the Andes mountains and leads one to elevations of over 13,000 feet. We'd camped at 12,000 feet and I was walking alone on the trail when these children appeared from nowhere - as anxious to see me as I was to them. I hurriedly grabbed my camera to capture this beautiful sight - a sight I'll never forget. |
