Great Travel Moment

I spent a summer in Halibut Cove, Alaska as a Kayak Guide a few years ago. This was one of the best summers of my life. One of my all time favorite things to do is to kayak and to spend the summer sharing that with others was a dream come true. I also ended up managing a lodge that summer so before work each day I would wake up early to take a morning paddle with the sunrise and again take another paddle in the evening sunset. This is one of few places where the water is calm enough and the sun sets just in the right way to turn the water pink, and there is nothing like paddling in pink water. This is a photo I took on such a night, one of my favorite photos of a great memory.
