Great Travel Moment

Rome's Campo dei Fiori can overwhelm the senses. The brilliant colors of hundreds of flowers are so cheerful on a wet morning in Rome. The smells are intoxicating - I remember burying my face in several bunches and inhaling deeply. Every vendor took extreme care in the arrangement of their flowers - all artfully done in buckets and urns. Each seller meticulously swept up any fallen petals and leaves. I loved how the flowers looked against the background of the cobblestone. My eyes and nose couldn't get enough of this wonderful place!
