Great Travel Moment My girlfriend and I spent 16 days driving the northern half of Italy. We started in Venice and went up north close to the Austrian border where lasagna turns to struedel and Italian turns to German. We drove thru Verona, Pisa, Florence and spent a couple days exploring small Tuscan hill towns. We didn't know the language and we weren't used to navigating such narrow steep streets but from day one we fell in love with Italy and we embraced everything about it for every moment that we were there. There was so much to do everywhere that it seemed like we were forever chasing sunsets. This particular one, in the Cinque Terre we didn't have to chase. We had just finished walked Via D'ell Amore and we were feeling so enamored with the entire area that I just leaaned into the wall and my girlfriend snapped a shot. It was the overwhelming feeling that we left with. Amore. |
