Great Travel Moment

City of Hills This picture was taken in the spring of 2009 in St. John?s, Newfoundland. I had just rounded the corner from hiking the twenty-four vigorous sets of stairs on Battery Hill, and came face to face with this amazing view of the St. John?s hillside! Even though I was completely exhausted from my hike, this spectacular view made it easy to find the energy to be exhilarated! After admiring this scene, I realized it was getting dark out and that I had to climb all the way back up the hill? I?m not lying when I say there were people out looking for me in the dark? But I was mostly oblivious to this fact as I still had the picturesque view of the St. John?s hillside engraved in my mind!
