Great Travel Moment Adventures to lands far different from your own lead to extraordinary experiences, beauty and people along the way. Highlights of a summer car camping road trip culminated at Glacier National Park in the Big Sky. Wildlife encounters were frequent with some too close for comfort and included black bear blocking our trail, grizzly eating berries, moose with calf sauntering through camp, pica playing hide and seek, mountain goat grazing and elk bugling. Inhaled natural splendor at Snyder, MacDonald, Avalanche and Cracker Lakes and breathtaking Siyeh Pass viewing fields of wildflower blooms and vanishing glaciers along the way. Food firsts were elkburger, huckleberry pie, and beef cut onsite within earshot of the diningroom with power tools! And people! Less stressed by real life, willing to lend a hand, chat awhile, accompany a hike, offer advice and just live in a moment! Thankfully, humanity is not disappearing like our glaciers. |

News-flash. Our melting glaciers are ONLY melting in the Arctic, while Antarctic is growing at record speeds. Wise up.
