Great Travel Moment

Burano, Italy is one of my favorite places in all the world. While in Venice with my daughters, we took an excursion to this unique town, known for its beautiful lace. Colorful houses, fishermen bringing in their catch of the day, talented lace makers who have learned a skill passed down from generation to generation, and the wonderful restaurants serving the freshest fish I have ever tasted make this a town that is unforgettable. This lazy fishing village is etched in our minds forever. I managed to slip into a lace shop to buy lace handkerchiefs for our granddaughters' future weddings!
