Great Travel Moment

After a long day of horseback riding through the trails of Haleakala, we decided to come down to the beach to watch the sunset over Maui. It had been raining since we arrived and the sunsets were rather dreary so we were not expecting anything more than a brief rest before our drive back to Wailea. This picture still reminds me that the most beautiful moments occur when you least expect them. The sun's reflection on the glassy water, the pristine beach, and the clouds rolling behind the palm tree made me believe that I had found paradise. Just looking at this picture brings a sense of peace and calm.
