Great Travel Moment

Lake Cheow Lan was the highlight of my trip to Thailand and a hidden treasure. This sunrise picture was taken the only morning spent on these unique floating bungalows. I was exactly halfway through my trip and had yet to catch a sunrise. It was by sheer coincident that I awoke early enough to catch this breathtaking view. I sat in awe with my legs dangling in the water, mist in the mountains and trees, and watched an array of colors cross the sky. It was here that I felt truly lucky to be able to travel. I spent the next hour in that very same spot, watching as people slowly began to come out of their huts, but not telling anyone about what I had just witnessed. It will always be my little piece of Thailand that no one can take away, and a memory that will last forever.
