Great Travel Moment

The looming clouds surrounding Junfrau represent my experience in Switzerland. While taking the train from Germany into Switerland, I lost my passport and eurail pass while changing trains in Basel. The problem was that there were two train stations, one on the German side and one on the Switerland side of Basel, and I was prepared to get off at the first one with my papers in hand. When I realized that we had to wait until the next station, I slid them into the seat pocket forgetting them on the train. I blame my lack of sleep, not being able to fall asleep sitting up on the overnight train ride. It was a big hassle on the next train without a passport or ticket, resulting in a short stay in Interlaken before going back to Basel and thankfully getting my passport back, but not my eurail pass.
