Great Travel Moment

I have been to Mammoth Mountain, CA nearly every year since I was five years old, but never appreciated the natural beauty of this snow-covered volcano. While riding up chair 12 last year, there was nothing that could take my attention from the sunlight, pristine snow, and towering trees that made this picture. This moment inspired me so much that I convinced my boyfriend to ski down the left side of the mountain in the picture where there were no tracks and no other human visitors. We truly connected with the mountain that day.
