Great Travel Moment

From my travels into the Peten of Guatemala is the beautiful picture of a little girl named, Lady and her Mayan grandparents. Lady and her brother were abandoned by their parents and currently are being raised by their grandparents. They live in a remote village called Villa Hermosa, where they live in dirt floor huts, having no water or electricity. The first day we arrived, our missionary friends took us around the remote village to meet each family. The people were very humble, hospitable, and gracious. The photo reminds me of the lives we touched, the relationships we built and the lives that were changed. My dream vacation is to take all 15 members of our church?s mission team to Guatemala this November. Most are giving up their only vacation time to go. If someone doesn?t raise their money, they will not be going.
