Great Travel Moment This photo was a once in a lifetime shot taken on my honeymoon in Big Sur, California. I saw the deer pass by our room and I went in to get the camera. Not expecting the shot to turn out, I clicked a few frames before the deer pranced out of sight. I love this photo because of the unexpected treat of wildlife passing by during sunset. The scene was so graceful: sunset, Cliffside views, lithe deer running by and barely making a sound with the ocean?s expanse engulfing the horizon. If we hadn?t been drawn outside to view the magical light of the sun reflecting off the ocean we never would?ve heard the deer slip past us. In the photo they are moving off into the night and I like to think that perhaps they were on their honeymoon and enjoying the romance and solitude just as we were. |
