Great Travel Moment

You have to trek through the dense, tropical jungle of the Yucatan to reach Uvero beach along Costa Maya, Mexico, but the journey is well worth every harrowing moment. Okay, not so much harrowing (you reach Uvero via a 30-minute ride in an air-conditioned bus), but I do recall the ride being pretty darn bumpy. Anyway, hubby and I were thrilled to discover this unclaimed stretch of pristine white sand to call our own and at a good distance from the usual throng of tourists. Between sipping on perfectly salted Margaritas and snapping pictures of him playing in the water, I captured this picture perfect moment. I use it for my wallpaper at work and while co-workers assume it's just stock photography; I can almost feel the sun's warm embrace and the cool water lapping against my legs that day. Hmm...is that a hint of salt I'm tasting?
