Great Travel Moment

This image was captured on my caribbean cruise, April 09. This picture clearly demonstrates the Mayans ability to build great architectural structures. The immense detail that was put into this was astounding. It is something that we as human beings don't appreciate as much as we should. This structure could be re-built this day and age with computer generated images and made to look like an exact replica. I challenge anyone to re create a structure like this with primitive tools and have it come out to be just as jaw dropping. To top it off, this is still standing centuries later, still retaining much of the glory that it would have had back when this society was still up and thriving.
