Great Travel Moment

The most beautiful racetrack in the world is Del Mar in Southern California which only runs during the Summer. This is where the Surf meets the Turf. Everyone feels like they are on vacation including the trainers, the jockeys and the horses. You can go to the beach in the morning, see the ponies run at the track in the afternoon, then have a wonderful dinner and perhaps see a play at the La Jolla Playhouse in the evening. A great summer get-away and always on my calendar.
