Great Travel Moment

Nothing says 'culture' in a foreign land like the local brew. And what enhances the experience of partaking in a south pacific sunset more than a refreshment shared with the one you love? Our one year anniversary took us to the breathtaking island of Moorea. The crystal blue waters and bright aquatic wildlife seemed to be unparalleled. This particular evening followed an epic trek around the island via scooter. We experienced incredible views of Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay from high atop the Belvedere lookout. Further adventure took us past unspoiled beaches, tropical foliage, and unassuming locals. Fresh fruit and fish stands beckoned us along the way. A glimpse of the old ways intertwined with the occasional modern convenience. All this and yet we were given an additional gift at the end of each day - a magical island sunset.
