Great Travel Moment

This photo was taken on my trip to Egypt. I love this picture because it really depicts the Great Sphinx of Giza doing its' job of guarding the sacred temples. I loved being in Egypt because of the fascinating culture. When most people think of Egypt, the first image that pops into their heads is a pyramid, which is why I believe this picture represents a great visual summary of the country-it displays the Sphinx, representing the peoples' religious and cultural beliefs, and a pyramid, which is a symbol of historic architecture.
