Great Travel Moment

The cliffs of the 11-mile Na Pali Coast trail on Kauai's northern coast make for a rugged and dangerous trek. Before daylong hike back to the trail head, we stopped to take in the sunrise. John serves in the U.S. Navy, and at that moment had the classic look of a sailor departing for a long trip. He proposed at the trail's beautiful and remote Kalalau Beach, which made shimmying around those steep cliffs well worth it.
