Great Travel Moment As my first trip to Paris (and Europe as well) I visited countless cathedrals and churches throughout the city. This church signified the first Gothic cathedral I entered. From here, my expectations were lifted. The tiniest of details were everywhere throughout the endless cathedrals of Paris. Something so simple as a place of worship built centuries ago, still holds. Whether I was religious or not, the beauty of the architecture alone was enough to slow me down. Taking the time to meditate on the history of such a building. The construction, the purpose, everything. |
