Great Travel Moment As our cruise boat traveled through Glacier Bay, I tried to get a good view off the deck of the ship. With so many people crowding along the side of the boat, it was impossible to see. I went up to the observation deck, though I knew tall glass would surround me. Soon, I saw others who shared by dilemma. These individuals were stacking lounge chairs on top of one another to create a giant six foot tall podium on which to stand. I joined in, and we climbed up to our newly created observation point so that we could peer over the glass that held us back from an outstanding view. No longer dodging others or peering through dark glass, I could stand and enjoy a remarkable Alaskan Reflection. |
