Great Travel Moment

I run a non-profit organization that helps with community development in impoverished nations. I recently visited some of the villages in Malawi, Africa where we helped to build clean water wells. This image is extremely powerful because this girl is drinking for the first time from a new well that one of our partner organizations drilled. Prior to the introduction of this new clean water source, people in this village had to walk as far as one mile to get water. I was able to drink the water from this well with the people of the village, which created a special bond between us. Every time I look at this photo, I am reminded of how important it is to bring clean water to those in need and am motivated to continue my efforts.
