Great Travel Moment

As the culmination our drive up the coast on Route 1 from Santa Barbara, we were excited to check out the infamous Alcatraz Island prison. My boyfriend and I were quite disappointed when we discovered that tickets were sold out for three weeks! However, we were more than surprised by our tour around the bay. Traveling under the Golden Gate Bridge and imagining just how much work went into building it was awe-inspiring. I like this view of the bridge because it gives a sense of the tremendous length and remarkable structure.
