Great Travel Moment I recently made my first trip to Ireland. All of the guide books and TV travel shows warn about the weather. There is a saying that in Ireland "if it's not raining, it's going to". Precipitation is very common, with some parts of the country getting up to 275 days with rain annually. We were told that last summer they had rain every day for 67 days in a row! So we prepared for inclement weather with raincoats, umbrellas, and boots. But low and behold, it didn?t rain once the entire week we were there! All of our photos show clear blue skies. Every place we went it was like living in a postcard. We feel very lucky. I?ll never forget the lush greens of the landscape and the deep blue water and skies. |
