Great Travel Moment

The Essence of Tranquility Upon arriving in the Baja, during Christmas 2008, I had the opportunity to witness the largest waves I had ever seen! As I wandered away from the touristy setting of my resort, I came across this memorable secluded beach, highlighted by the contrasting colours of the red rocks and sand, with the deep turquoise of the twenty foot waves. It was a surreal moment. I was determined to photograph an interesting perspective of the waves, so I cautiously climbed onto the rocks, aware that I could get splashed by the salty water any second. As a result of my daring actions, it just so happened that seconds after I snapped this I got soaked, as you can see the splash approaching in the right of the photograph! But I got the shot, and that?s all that matters, right?
