Great Travel Moment

This was my first trip to India and it was life-altering. I had culture shock at first, but it quickly grew on me; the sights, sound, and smells. When we visited Agra to see the Taj Mahal, it was threatening to rain. As we were dropped off by our bus, it poured cats and dogs. We were tucked under this doorway with others, mostly tour guides, until the rain passed. After the rain, the colours of the whole structure were so intense and focussed, it was just amazing! I was haunted by the story of the Taj Mahal and the absolute beauty and intricacy of the architecture. I have studied Landscape Architecture and had recently graduated. This was a dream come true for me, and the rain made it even better.
