Great Travel Moment On my second trip to India, I was trevelling alone and taking trains, busses and even camels as transportation. After a gruelling and dusty 18 hour train trip, we finally reached the Rajastan town of Udaipur. There was so much going on at all times, it could be a sensory overload. I think this photo captures the organized choas that is India. All types of transport and the revered cows seemed to co-mingle on the street in relative order. I remember clearly the smell of the burning fires for making tea, the spices in the air, even the cow dung.Udaipur was a beautiful city with a gorgeous lake palace. From our guesthouse we could view scenes like this, point the camera and shoot. |
