Great Travel Moment As a young adult, I went to Argentina with friends to learn Spanish; we learned so much more. We had a random horrible experience initially (that had nothing to do with Argentina itself), and we wondered "should we run away and get on the next plane home?" We were close to doing just that, but in the end we decided to help each other through this experience. In making that decision, we were also able to experience unimagined beauty - like this scene at Iguazu Falls. I still remember the mist on my face, making me feel so alive. We learned some hard lessons, but also that sometimes you can find the silver lining if you look hard enough through the rain. In the end, this was one of the most amazing trips I've ever taken, and Argentina will always hold a special place in my heart. |
