Great Travel Moment

My mom and I had a chance to go on a trip to France with a group from my school in the summer of 2008. It was the chance of a lifetime. Neither of us had been out of the country, and my mom had wanted to see France since she was a teenager. So, we dug deep and found the money. Neither of us regrets it. This picture was the first time we saw the Eiffel Tower. The whole trip was like an out-of-body experience, but standing there in this incredible city in front of a world-renowned structure, with my mother, who'd just been divorced and NEVER dreamed of leaving the country, it was amazing. It felt like a dream.
