Great Travel Moment It was three days before Christmas as I walked down Grafton Street in Dublin, Ireland. Five months had passed since I moved here and only one day remained before I was going to be on my way home. The streets were packed with holiday shoppers of all ages and everyone was exceedingly happy and giddy with a cheerful holiday spirit. It was as if I was in another world and at any moment the crowd would join together in a harmonious Irish Carol; singing as they shopped. My trip had come to an end, but I was leaving with a smile. My time spent in Ireland turned out to be the most live altering experience of my life. I was stretched in ways I only could have imagined. I left thinking, ?What an amazing country. What amazing people.? |
