Great Travel Moment I visited Grand Teton National Park in November--the time between the summer rush and ski season. While it was very cold outside, and had just snowed the night before, I wanted to go on a hike. I stopped at the ranger station and was told that the trail near Jenny Lake was open. Being a female traveling alone, I was a little afraid that I might fall on or off the trail never to be seen or heard from again, but I decided that I was up for the challenge. I bundled up and headed up the trail. Once I finished the hike, I felt a great sense of freedom and accomplishment, and this shot I took of the Grand Teton is a symbol of that. |
