I was on a cross country trip , this was a planned stop for the ballon races. After this trip I purchased a pick up truck so I could also get into this branch of aviation. If you have never been for a ballon ride. It is one of the things that should be on your list of things "to do" Nothing can take its place. This photo was taken many years ago and I will never forget the folks who were with me and that I met. Ballon folks are a special breed of people.
