Great Travel Moment We were on holiday in Hoi An, VietNam in December 2007. We were walking up the main street in HoiAn when we heard children laughing and playing. We walked up the lane where we found an elementary school with many children. My daughter approached the gate and several of the kids ran over to see her. They were fascinated with her blonde hair and blue eyes. But they were especially interested in the (kids) tatoo on her arm. We stayed there until the kids had to return to class. It was memorable because the children, who spoke no common language, had as the common denominator, their curiosity and friendliness...that is really all we need in life...it was great lesson and a great experience. Thank you. |
