Great Travel Moment My wife and I were on the island of Spitsbergen (Norway) at about 78 degrees north latitude. We were taking a walk around the city of Longyearbyen (famous for being the home of the Global Seed Vault) and enjoying the midnight sun (this was early July 2009). I then noticed that the sun was hitting this row of houses in a particularly stunning way. In my view, photography is all about capturing light, and the light was fantastic. I hope you agree. Thank you! -Stephen Carmichael |
