Great Travel Moment

Three years ago, as I flipped through a guidebook, I was intrigued by a description of The Wave. The author commented that the place is so magical that once you enter it, you never want to leave. From then on, I was determined to see the vibrant colors and natural beauty for myself. The only problem was that I needed a permit to get into The Wave, and only a few permits are given out every day. For three years, I tried unsuccessfully to get a permit. I had almost given up hope, but, this year, I finally won the permit lottery. It was definitely worth the wait. The place is truly magical. When I got there, I took hundreds of pictures of The Wave, but the one that I treasure most shows my beautiful wife of 35 years blending into the curves of the stone.
