Great Travel Moment The Taj Mahal in Agra is by far the most visited tourist destination north of New Delhi, if not all of India. We got up well before sunrise to catch the light as it rose above the spectacular architectural achievement. Dehydration had left me tired and my friend Harry and I walked around the Taj Mahal, into the shade next to it. After looking around me, I soon realized that it was not the Taj Mahal itself that was brilliant at sunrise, but the entire estate: the mosques to the left and right were immediately lit up and turned an awesome, golden color. I stood behind my friend Harry and took in this scene: the sun rising behind the Taj Mahal (behind me), casting its shadow on the mosque beside it. |

Neat- I like the human life of the body right there in front of the Taj Mahal, makes it even more...touching!
