Great Travel Moment This mother and daughter in Panama are selling molas, multilayered fabric art used by Kuna Yala women of Panama as the main portions of their blouses. I found them on the Caribbean side of the country, near Bocos del Toro. I was taken with their colorful expression and warmth. I took this photograph on my first trip to Central America and I remember the moment fondly as a discovery of color, culture, and remarkable talent |
