Great Travel Moment

We were wandering around Venice after dropping our bags off at our hotel. The sights and sounds were overwhelming and seemed to be out of a storybook. It was then that we spotted this gondola driver waiting patiently for a customer. Yes, we understood that the outfit and the decoration of the gondola were intended to please tourists. Nevertheless, the sight of this "essence of Venice" was both thrilling and a joy to behold. One couldn't help but ponder on what a romantic outing it would be to take a ride with this gondolier.
