Great Travel Moment

My sister Pat & I were born in France of a French mother and an American Army dad from Iowa. Somehow, we did not make it back to France for many years. When we went last August, it was hot! We came to the Eiffel Tower only to find that the fountains around it had been turned off and had been conscripted as La Plage by the Parisians. There were people bathing in the fountains and stretched out along it's perimiters in their bikinis with beach towels. We quickly shed our shoes and joined in. My husband Dan took the pic. Gotta love those Parisians!
