Great Travel Moment Kakum National Park in Ghana is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. After a short hike through the rainforest, reaching the Canopy Walkway was an exhilarating feeling. Then the tour guide explains how two Canadians and six Ghanaians constructed the one hundred and thirty foot high walkway in 1990. Feeling a bit uneasy, I stepped onto the first of seven bridges that run throughout the canopy. After a few steps I was able to avert my eves from the woken planks below my feet to the lush foliage that surrounded. The rainforest was so astounding that as soon as we got off the walkway, I was ready to go again. |
