Great Travel Moment

Climbers leave camp 4 enroute to the summit of Mount Everest around 9pm these days, the way ahead of them light just a few feet by the headlamp. This was not the case for us in 2008. We climbed throughout the night in windless crystal clear skies, clouds hanging low in the valleys like a sea separating snow capped peaks and glaciers illuminated by this brillant Himalayan full moon.
