Great Travel Moment

During a recent visit to New York, my friend and I hopped the subway to escape the madness of Times Square and spent a lovely Saturday morning strolling the streets of Greenwich Village. We could have been in a different city. This street scene, taken near Washington Square Park, caught my eye with its timeless quality. The bicyclists, the garbage truck, the buildings--was it 2009, 1999, or 1959?
