Great Travel Moment The further you go into Denali Park, the more desolate yet majestic, it gets. I usually prefer to be below tree line since I miss the trees with their color & protection from the elements, esp. the wind. But, even though the landscape grows more lonely, Mt. McKinley looms ever larger, like a white skyscraper. It dominates the view, & the sparse surroundings set it off perfectly. |
